    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course gave students and excellent introduction to organic chemistry. The teacher and teacher assistant were invested in us students, and were eager to answer any questions that we had to improve our learning experience.

    Course highlights:

My highlight of this course was getting to work in the organic chemistry lab. Lab brought the chemistry to life, and provided real, hands-on experience and learning.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not fall behind on your reading and practice questions. Also- when you need help, reach out for it as soon as possible. Falling behind will hurt later on in the semester.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Hard material, but a great professor who really helps with understanding the material.

    Course highlights:

Highlights were if we beat last year's average on an exam, he would buy the whole class ice-cream. As far as learning, I haven't used very much O Chem in my program so far (ChemE).

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO CLASS. And also, print out his lecture slides and write your notes on those. That's probably the best way to take notes for his class.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very difficult but interesting at the same time. It requires a lot of studying and hard work but is doable. I would recommend it to anyone in the science fields.

    Course highlights:

I really liked the labs during this course and genuinely thought they were interesting. It's great to see the material used in a real world application in lab every week.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to keep up on the material. If you lose focus, this class can really get away from you. The best way to study is to look over previous exams and to go to office hours if you need help.
