Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Phenomenal teacher that makes sure that you understand the material before moving on. Teaches the material in such an engaging way.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course was just coming to class. I enjoyed the teaching, the environment and i was always eager to learn something new. Learning about different ways to name molecules was always fun.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class and ask for help! It never hurts to seek extra help when you aren't understanding something.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course to those who like chemistry and are willing to put in the time and effort to study.

    Course highlights:

You learn, on the molecular level, how carbons and any molecule with a carbon reacts and why. This course requires you to learn and understand several basic and common mechanisms that occur in biological system (so be prepared to study).

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study regularly if you don't understand something. Use note cards to remember the mechanisms and compounds you're expected to know (they will be on exams). Know how to draw all discussed molecules and know their relative pka's. NEVER smell the ethers in lab, one guy passed out for a solid hour.
