    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course allows you to connect past contemporary issues with those that are currently happening. Being able to compare the similarities and differences between these issues really show how the world has progressed throughout time.

    Course highlights:

Conducting research and being able to piece together multiple sources of information enabled me to create a superior writing style. I learned that getting help along the way does not show your weaknesses but allows you to improve upon thing that you may not have seen yourself.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course you have to be willing to do your research and take time to collect legitimate resources. This was a mandatory course so do not think that it is an easy A just because it is a history class. You will read and critique many peoples writings along with your own. Putting in effort and reaching out for help when you need it will get you a step ahead of everybody else in the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a requirement for transfer students and is pretty interesting. It's pretty writing intensive but a good class overall.

    Course highlights:

Learned history through specific issues and implemented them into real life to think about the issues going on around us.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to write papers, they're not difficult but the final paper can be tough so really keep up on the researching for it.
