    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recomend this course to any individual pursuing civil engineering. Fluid mechanics is a class that relates the class work to real world applications. Dr. Olsen does a terrific job of relating lectures to hw. His lectures are never boring because he keeps the class involved.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Olsen gives 5 exams over the course of the semester. This allows students the opportunity to apply the skills learned in depth, rather then spreading the material out and giving fewer tests. This forces the student to retain the information that is learned, instead of just regurgitating information and then forgetting all about it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend every class. Dr. Olsen covers all of the essential information that will be needed for the exams. Dr. Olsen is terrific about helping students during office hours, so be sure to take full advantage of this and go to office hours as early as possible
