Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend Professor Prera's class. He has all the PowerPoint slides available online before class that you can print out and add notes on. Don't be afraid to use his office hours, and sitting in the very front helps a lot.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was learning about price ceiling and price floors. He uses real world examples to highlight how the concept applies. Game theory is pretty tough to learn, I highly recommend asking slot of questions, it was on the final exam.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If your considering taking economics, you'll find how it applies to everything in our economy. Be prepared to take lots of notes.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Easy A if you complete homework and attend lecture regularly. Exams are usually less than 25 points. Writing Assignments never take longer than an hour or two.

    Course highlights:

Learned about Microeconomics. Most of the course deals with supply and demand models and how they can be changed by the economy.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this course with Prera you will be good to go. He likes to do lots of attendance extra credit especially if no one shows up to lecture, so it is definitely important to attend class everyday.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd highly recommend taking this course. He uses mostly PowerPoint slides that you can download before you attend class. Their are four in class exams, lowest score gets dropped. Your allowed a cheat sheet on the exams, where you can fit as many graphs, formulas, and concepts on an 8 by 11 inch paper.

    Course highlights:

The clicker questions! Good way to get easy extra credit. I learned the basic concepts of graphing and market trade offs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class, sit in the first two rows and stay focused. Visit him during his open office hours.
