    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a dry structured lecture the information is straight to the point, and can be dull. The information is all done through a lecture. Although Pinkleton is a great person he does not have the best teaching style for me personally. The tests are heavily based on the book, and it is imperative to read the material as well as master the concepts in lecture.

    Course highlights:

One highlight of 312 is the light humor Pinkleton has, class can be hard to pay attention but sometimes he does a few things that make the lecture entertaining. Throughout this course you will learn how to understand the history of public relations. The importance of media ethics. As well as, the career paths one can take in PR.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend to attend every lecture and take notes really listen and try to relate and understand the topics that are covered. It is important to stay on top of the readings in order to be successful and not stressed before the exam. If you keep ahead of the tasks you will do great.
