    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because of the interesting material. If you enjoy history and learning about historical archaeological sites this class would be perfect for you. You also get to learn a little about archaeological procedures.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were definitely the individual archaeological sites you learn about. There is a bit of a drab section when it comes to procedures but it picks back up again.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Professor Ek does a good job of basing his tests around the material he covers during class. When studying, I found it better to just go back over my notes and his slides (which he does post).

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I thought this class was very interesting. You learn about early human origins and dating of findings as well as excavation methods. Overall a very fascinating topic in my opinion.

    Course highlights:

In taking this course I was given a deep interest in the topic of Anthropology. Even though it was just a filler class at the time I'm anxious now to take more anthropology classes. With the knowledge of dating ancient items and the teaching of ancient cultures, as well as the progression of the study of Archaeology into an Anthropological science.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to have an open mind, and study hard for the finals. The different shifts in Archaeology as a study can be confusing.
