    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because you have a lot of freedom. This class has a mixture of creative writing and research. With it being a smaller class, I feel more connected with the students and the teacher. I feel as though he persuades us to speak up whether we're right or wrong and overall interact with the class and subject. You're able to write about what you're passionate about, and it's refreshing considering English in high school is essay after essay about books we wouldn't normally read. In this class, we learn life skills we can use and we practice with our own topic. The freedom is given to us in a highly effective way.

    Course highlights:

Our first project was to create our own Podcast which I thought was very unique for an English class. It wasn't to just teach us how to make a Podcast, but how to talk about a topic with a goal and solution. We were able to choose our topic and being able to talk about something you're passionate about can be pretty easy but it definitely makes you think, which is why it was so effective.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to have insightful things to say. Whether it be about your passion or an assignment the class did. Have plenty to say when it comes to a topic you choose and have a goal to inspire others.

It is a required course so I wouldn't recommend it.

    Advice for students:

Read everything and study at least 2 hours outside of class
