    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

For students who return to college later in-life, those of us with math experience will benefit from seeing old problems through a new lens.

    Course highlights:

Expressing patterns in new forms and reviewing algebraic basics gives me confidence that I can return to advanced mathematics after being away for 11 years.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Focus very hard on the curriculum homework topics created by the math department (IE handouts). There will be book-based home work that falls outside of this material, but it won't necessarily translate to the quizzes and exams which weigh far more than the homework assignments.
