Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I would really recommend class with Duncan Bennett because he made this class very fun and understandable.
Course highlights:
I am not very good at math and so I was terrified to take it. But taking math 112 was very beneficial and it made me a stronger math person.
Hours per week:
9-11 hours
Advice for students:
Take it, it always makes you think.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this class to anyone willing to put in the effort. Many of the things taught in math 112 are basic math skills that will need to be known down the road for future math classes or even careers.
Course highlights:
From taking this math course, I gained a much better understanding of math from the perspective of Algebra and trigonometry.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
While you will most likely need to take Math 112 for whatever you are studying down the road (or even just to fulfill necessary college requirements) It is not a class that comes easily for those who are not already good at math. In order to pass, one must be very involved during class time and make sure to seek additional help outside of the classroom any time you are confused or lost. That being said, if someone is willing to do this, it is a great math class to take.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
This course is very homework heavy and there is not a lot of time in class to go over each lesson and homework. It will be a lot of reading out of the book and teaching yourself or going to a study group.
Course highlights:
This course is a GUR and was taught by a grad student which made the class more interseting. The class is only 50 minutes long and everyday of the week so it isn't that hard.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Make sure that you do all of the homework because it is graded in class. You should make sure that you're well prepared for the tests, and if you need extra help there is usually study sessions available.
