Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Super engaging, informative, and not an overwhelming workload.

    Course highlights:

Learning about how gendered our society is, how other cultures view gender and sexuality, and how sex characteristics display themselves and why we connect sex to gender.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take notes in class, ask questions if you have them including for the professor to repeat something important or that you didn't quite catch or understand fully, and work with a friend on assignments (it's better for discussion and to remember things).

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was a great introductory psychology course. It does dive into exploring societal views of gender, which I found immensely interesting. I did take the course online, however, so I cannot give any insight into how good the in-person lecture was.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course included looking into society’s views on gender. We delved into stereotypes of both men and women, different pressures each sex undergoes, and a little bit into the interactions between the two.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The online course was relatively easy. I did not read the book but only the online readings and passed the class with a 4.0, or an A. The discussions are pretty easy and interesting because you get to see different people’s views on the topics at hand.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The subject matter is fascinating and the teacher is engaging and funny.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the different aspects of gender and a lot of new information on the differences between gender, sexual orientation, and sexual identity.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I took notes while I read the book, I attended all the classes and took notes on those, also. There are online tests to take. Don't procrastinate. They are easier when the info is fresh in your mind.
