    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend the course because Professor Belay is a very challenging professor, but he challenges the students not to make it hard for them, but rather for them to attain true understanding of the materials. He is very accessible and reachable. He is always helpful during office hours.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course is how he connected the theory we learnt in class with events that happened in real life. He would start the class asking us if we have read the news today, and start applying concepts that we learned in order to explain the events that happened.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not try to memorize the typical problems that he could ask in quizzes or exams, instead, really try to understand the concepts because it will help you to answer his heavily concept based questions. Self-studying besides classroom times also helps a lot. He will make all of the study materials available for self-studying. Reaching out to him to ask question during his office hour is also a very great way because he will keep explaining it to you until you get it.
