    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Sociology is the science or study of the origin, development, organization, and functioning of human society. It's important for people to understand the human race so there are so many ethical conflicts. There are a plethora of stereotypes throughout the world that would be could be better understood through sociology. There are reasons people eat what they eat, wear what they wear, live in what they live in; that are far beyond just race, gender etc. and with Sociology people will understand that.

    Course highlights:

The class was only an intro level class, so we never got too deep into it but i certainly learned something that will always stick with me. There are people that cant help that they live what they live will, not all the time everyone has a choice and it just mainly helped me to understand, why the world is the way it is.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Sociology was one of those classes I really enjoyed outside of my major. As long as you stay on top of the vocabulary and read throughout the book as you move along in chapters; the class can teach you a lot, and also be a breeze.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Klaus is an intelligent man and knows all of the theories in beginning Sociology. The only thing that anyone who takes this should know, is that he is pretty biased when he asks questions and expects an answer.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this course was learning about racism through other perspectives than just the one I have experienced throughout my life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read all of the material you are given and assigned by the professor. Without reading and understanding what you have read, you will not be able to pass this course with higher than a high C.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor stays connected with his students, and keeps the course entertaining while also educational.

    Course highlights:

You have the opportunity to work on your own in class and at home. Later on, you get the chance to work in groups and meet new people. Professor Klaus has a unique style of teaching, showing students where their priorities should be.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Read the material he gives you, and read all of it. Don't wait till last minute and decide to read an entire chapter when you still have a ton of homework to do. Pay attention to the power points and the lessons he goes over in class, because it is almost the same as the quizzes and the tests.
