    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course becuase Professor was easy to work with and helped in any way possible. For this class you have to be focused, there is a lot of lecture.

    Course highlights:

Biology lab was a great way to get to know more students and put what youre learning in class into action with some action. In the course we learned about DNA and that was what I feel I learned most about.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good lecture notes and review the notes at the end of every week. When you are unsure about some ask about it then.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Before college, I thought I hated biology, but Dr. Flaherty gave me a new love and understanding for the subject. She has already helped me so much, in this she has really opened up my eyes to show me that I am pursuing the right path.

    Course highlights:

Since I am pursuing a more medical based biology path, I really enjoyed learning about genetics and mendelian inheritance. We really focused on how genetics work and how different genetic disorders can come about and how they can affect different organisms.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Dr. Flaherty does not just hand out grades. The grade that you receive is the grade that you earned, therefore it is very important to work hard and always try your best. Flaherty is always willing to help you as much as she can, especially if she sees that you are putting in the time and effort.
