    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are at all interested in Native American history, this class is a brilliant way to get your feet wet in the topic. First of all, the coursework is challenging. But it is challenging in a way that really pushes you to understand the concepts. There is so much to know about Native American history, and this class helps you understand some of the more important points that other general history classes completely pass over.

    Course highlights:

Specifically, this course helped you learn what really happened between the Native Americans and the first settlers. This is not a course that says how happy everyone was and how the first Thanksgiving brought everyone together. Instead, this course tells you all of the terrible, horrible things that were subjected to the Natives and how invasive and intrusive the first settlers were.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the time to study and read over the materials given to you. The teachers for this course are thorough and will correct you on any misconceptions incorporated into your work. However, if you take the time and study your topics, they will promptly tell you that you are doing a great job!
