    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is required at this university. It is especially helpful for those transitioning from traditional school to online courses. It also introduces all the resources provided by the university very well.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the different resources offered by American Public University and about the specific structure and procedures of this school.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

This course may be a bit boring at some points but it is required so make the best of it.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend or not recommend this course. I actually felt it was pointless but it is mandatory to take other classes.

    Course highlights:

To me, there weren't any major highlights in this course. There is a midterm, final and small weekly assignments. The purpose of the course is to give tips on how to be successful in online education. The most important thing to me is not to underestimate the difficulty of online learning. The method is different, the material is not.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Although I personally felt the course was pointless, I believe it is very important for anyone transitioning into online learning. If you struggle with this course you may want to reevaluate your method of instruction or your timing.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class and instructor because it has taught me so much about online learning!

    Course highlights:

MLA citations. In text citations. And learning how to use an online school library.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to post your forums early and submit your assignments a couple days before they are due.
