Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Well I first recommend this course because it's a required course for most, if not all Legal degrees. With that said, it's an important course to take seriously because I can almost guarantee that somewhere down the road during your legal career, there will be a time that someone (whether client or colleague) will put your ethics and morals to the test, intentionally or unintentionally. You need to know what would be considered a violation of ethics and what is not. Sometimes it's not as clear cut as it seems.

    Course highlights:

Legal ethics in my opinion is more common sense than not, but I did learn that sometimes it's not exactly that simple.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the required reading. It will make life a lot easier.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Recommend this course if it is a core course for the student, especially if working with attorneys is the career they have chosen. This course helps the student understand what role they play in helping attorneys and themselves because it spells out what is expected of the legal employee.

    Course highlights:

This course allows you to think. It is not a cookie cutter course where the answer is straight out the book, however you must read all of the assignments in order to do well on the quizzes, so reading is a must. There is some research required on the students part in order to answer the forum questions. Many times you are allowed to give your opinion on what you've read. This way there is no yes or no answer.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure this is a required course. There is a lot of reading involved, but you gain tremendous insight into the way the courts look at attorneys.
