Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love this course, maybe because I had been away from school for such a long time. Professor was great.

    Course highlights:

With this course I learned more about writing essays which was great because all you seem to do is write essays in all the courses.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always, Always read everything twice if you have too. I did love taking this course but I also dedicated time enough time to the course and if I had any questions I would email the professor which is very important they are there to help.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course helps provide a foundation for writing and research. This course was extremely helpful in learning how APUS likes research done and how to properly construct an argument and research paper.

    Course highlights:

Learning how to properly cite and construct a paper. Learning the different online resources for the online student.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Learn to be open to criticism. I thought I was a good writer until I was shown my many mistakes. Learn how to properly cite scholarly works, this is a must for this class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course. Highly engaging, motivating and educational. Professor Schmidt is determined to help you get a thorough understanding. Very clear in setting expectation and what is required to meet it.

    Course highlights:

There are various methods and styles used in this writing class. You will learn the entire body of an essay. Differentiation between the Toulmin, Rogerian and a Common Ground method. My highlights were the essays. 900-1000 words, works cited page and an annotated bibliography, that was d highlight for me. I enjoy writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready! Please don't consider this course to be a simple fly by night option. This is a grueling, study and understanding course. Upon completion, you feel a sense of pride.
