Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was so much fun. Basicly this class took modern social problems we see in American society and analyze them from a sociological perspective. This is an extremely pertinent course and follows what is happening in the wold today.

    Course highlights:

Every week we took a different social problem and analyzed it based off major sociological perspectives. Primarily the functionalist perspective, conflict perspective, interactionalist perspective, and feminist theory. A lot of fun and really eye opening to current events.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the course work and text book. You can probably get away with only reading the lessons but the information provided it truely interesting and not dry. One of the text books I actually wanted to keep on reading.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course to everyone because of the social problems that we all are facing within today's society. This course covers history as well as present social problems. The resources provided, and the Professor are very dependable.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course for me were the forum discussions between classmates and myself. The communication and participation was open and gave great insight on how others think. Everyone faces social problems in their lifetime so sharing experiences was very insightful.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The participation is very much expected from every student so the advise I would give is to manage your time wisely. And also focus on big percentage assignments/course work because your grades will be affected by them the most. Without prioritizing and managing your time you will fall behind in this course.
