    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Mendel is big on grammar, so definitely be careful with that.

    Course highlights:

It was your average literature class. I merely needed it for my major.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There is a lot of reading and comparing stories. Be creative and watch your grammar.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Yes...if you have to take it. There is a lot of reading. Long stories & poems with cryptic meaning.

    Course highlights:

I did enjoy a couple of the poems. Specifically "The Yellow Wallpaper"

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading - skimming through won't do. You can find a lot of the poems on audio online which is helpful if you don't like reading.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is one in which i have gained a new aspect for reading and literature. I find it to be a true thrill to learn and see that even literature wrote so long ago really still speaks wonders to our society in present day.

    Course highlights:

Honestly just a true love for literature in itself, and that these words written all have a much deeper meaning that we have so gotten away from in todays society of fast pace life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To not procrastinate and do your readings first. Also to ensure if you do not understand what you have read to go back and read it again.
