    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for anybody interested in securing a computer and their online identity. Everyone needs to know computer and networking security these days and this class covered everything. The instructor made the learning fun by calling it "offensive security" and teaching us how to work and think from a hacker's point of view. After all, if you can think like a hacker and have their tools you can secure yourself from them better.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of the course were the troubleshooting labs that taught us how to hack so we may protect ourselves from hackers. It was not easy, but because the instructor made it a point to help us individually and share experience for the whole class, it seemed fairly easy to grasp.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise you to be determined to take and finish all lab options for the course instead of just doing forums and writing a paper.
