    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course unless you are an experienced programmer. However, Professor Miller is a great instructor she does what she can to teach you the material so that you can understand it without giving you the answers directly.

    Course highlights:

So far I have learned some basic concepts of VBScript and the reasons why it is useful for IT professionals.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you do not have any prior programming experience study up and find websites that can teach programming as well as seek out help from the professor, professionals and even other students.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I'm not sure if it's the professor or if the classes are generated and are standard from professor to professor but this was supposed to be a baseline class and it most definitely was not. This was the very first class that I took towards my degree and it was a killer.

    Course highlights:

I know how to write a little bit of code but I don't understand 100% how it all goes together to be able to work properly. In this class you are supposed to learn the basics of VBScript, JavaScript, and a few other scripting applications. However, this class got more advanced than a BEGINNER can keep up with. Once you finish the week out you're like, "Oh, I kind of get it but now we're no longer on this subject and the next week has started with a fresh new subject." Also, my book expired online during the 4th week of the class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have zero programming experience I suggest you get some or you will spend 8 weeks completely lost. There is not a single source online that can help you with this course. The instructions for each week's assignments are not very clear AT ALL.
