    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

For History majors this is a required course, so it doesn't really matter if I'd recommend this. However, I do think this is an important course to take, as it helps you learn what professors at this university are looking for in a research paper.

    Course highlights:

This course is a step-by-step guide to writing a research paper. Your professor basically holds your hand and walks you through HOW to write a proper research paper. You will learn exactly what the university expects from a history major when it comes to these papers, and you will also learn a lot about the specific professor you have. (If you like them, then you know to sign up for their courses in the future....if you don't, you know who to stay away from.)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This is a required course for history students. Take it as early as possible. It is required for most upper level history classes, but it will also help you in writing papers for electives and general ed requirements.
