    | Would highly recommend.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    This course is important in understanding the struggles of Black women and how the past affects us today. It teaches a greater understanding of how certain stereotypes affect Black women and how others treat and view them.

    Course highlights:

    The Eurocentric Constructions of Black women stereotypes was interesting. (Ex. Mammy, Jezebel, Welfare Queen, Matriarch, Urban Teen Mother).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Read the text and you will learn a lot. Stay involved with the discussion board. It helps you inform and learn from others.
