    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. McLaughlin was a great professor and taught students in a very intriguing way. Hearing the life stories of what he experienced as an Officer in Florida was always interesting.

    Course highlights:

My favorite was studying the Miranda rights. That is the most basic thing in criminal justice but is the most absolute thing you need to know. As well with court cases. They are very interesting to learn about as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always take notes and keep your ears open. If any professor is giving you life experiences in this field soak them up and don't let your opinions get in the way of what you think needs or should be done.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because the professor is very original with his lessons. The professor I chose to take this course with was highly into teaching his students and making sure we knew what he was talking about and if we understood. We were given extra credit opportunities, the tests were very easy as the professor keeps you from getting bored in his class, this professor makes you want to enjoy this class and you do.

    Course highlights:

I have gained a lot of education just form this course alone. We talked over law systems, court systems, etc. Before taking this class I had no idea about half of what a court system or law system consisted of but at the end I knew everything.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay focused and interact with the lesson.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class gives you a broad overview of the criminal justice system. It helps you decide which avenue you want to follow.

    Course highlights:

I liked the discussion about police activities and corrections. I learned different aspects of the criminal justice system.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and if the professor writes something on the board, write it down.
