Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course with Professor Matthews because he is a great professor who gets involved with his students and takes his lessons step by step.

    Course highlights:

I learned many things regarding MLA format, essay circumstances, and many ways to form an essay.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay focused and don't miss a class. Keep up with your work and due today does not mean do today.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

An excellent class to hone writing skills for all college courses to come. Writing essays, using MLA Format, and creative writing/brainstorming are large portions of the class.

    Course highlights:

In the summer semester, this course is fast paced! The biggest thing I learned from that was to budget my time for writing. Brainstorming and research are areas I needed to spend more time on to help my writing come more easily.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to write! Don't let the size of the assignment essays discourage you. If you use the techniques taught in the book, writing will become easier for you.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course gives the basic understanding of how to write an essay. Further into the semester, Professor Robidoux also increases the difficulty level so you are always challenging yourself.

    Course highlights:

Being able to express my own opinions, rather than someone else's was one of the many highlights of this course. I learned to stop worrying and just write.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students to just focus on what Robidoux is asking and do not hold back. He loves opinionated people who are not afraid to speak their mind.
