Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course especially to native Spanish speakers. This course is a great way to learn how to write and speak Spanish properly, which many of us native speakers have not had the chance to do, especially if we were born in the U.S. Susana will help you every step of the way, she is a great teacher.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to properly say each verb in each tense, and the reason why there are different ways to say each verb in one tense.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely say that you should not skip over assignments, even if they seem redundant. I learned that if you skip the assignments, you will quickly forget what tense to use or what verb in that specific tense to use. Practice helps to really retain the material, and in a language course, it is extremely important to practice in order to be able to remember the language.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course encompasses all aspects of Spanish literature: writing as well as reading. While difficult, the professor assists you in every way possible for you to acquire more advanced skills. Through patience and determination, she teaches about various verb tenses, spelling, pronunciation. Additionally, oral presentations and lengthy compositions in Spanish were a major component of the grade.

    Course highlights:

I gained more knowledge of the Spanish language. I can now differentiate between multiple verb tenses, successfully write a paper without grammar errors, give oral presentations in Spanish, and expanded my Spanish lexicon.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Determination is vital whilst taking this course. If you are indifferent to the Spanish language, it is guaranteed that you won't pass. You will only succeed if it is something you strongly desire and yearn for.
