    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was interesting to learn American history. My friend and I took this class together. There was really nothing spectacular about this course. It was a good history class, and that's about it.

    Course highlights:

We went in depth in the study of American history and how the stuff you learn in history textbooks isn't always the real story. One thing that stuck out to me was how cruel the first explorers were to the native people.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters, watch the videos, talk to the professor if you don't understand something. Be careful on the quizzes because they sometimes look like trick questions. Just read them carefully and search the reading for related topics or the exact wording. It depends on the quiz.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great instructor and great content to give us a unique look at the history of western civilization

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the instructors. Both Dr. Horgan and Dr. Steele worked to make a relatively uninteresting topic and make it interesting and engaging. Students not only evaluated primary source, but also participated in online discussions and in group discussion which I feel is important when studying a topic such as this one.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you complete your work on time and that your work is professional. Do not hand something in late or something in which you did not try very hard. otherwise you will receive a failing grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a very interesting course that not only covered our ancestor's journey through the western world, but also discussed the life of Jesus Christ. I took a shortened class that only lasted 3 weeks, but I learned a lot in that short time. Dr. Pingel is also very open to discussion and has quite an enjoyable personality, which made three-hour classes tolerable.

    Course highlights:

There were a variety of topics covered over the span of this class, so if I didn't necessarily enjoy what we were covering at the moment, something else that held my attention would be covered shortly.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to listen to hints from the instructor and to read through the assigned material. As long as you read (or at least skim through) the book, you should get near perfect grades on all the quizzes and tests.
