    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor was extremely interesting to listen to during lecture, which made the class one in which I didn't dread going to. There was never a dull moment in the class! The course load was extremely manageable as well.

    Course highlights:

Taking a closer look at the Bible helped me to process and understand what I had learned in another religion course that I had taken the semester prior, so it was nice to synthesize the information I had learned in each. The professor was a master of the book of Hebrews, and it was cool to find out what he had discovered when he was analyzing it at one point in his life.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you put effort in to the course, and the professor can recognize that, you will do well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Overall this course was a great introduction to the Old Testament and it was done in a way that made one comfortable studying the bible.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the bible that I had not really learned even through all of my classes at church. It was interesting to see how things are still applicable in today's world with regards to lessons that were taught "back in the day" to what we still experience in life today.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the course to learn more about how religion is a study that is applicable no matter what year one lives in. There are always lessons one can learn from it and the instructors make it enjoyable as well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Paavola is a insanely smart professor. But that is not all. He is very approachable and the class is so much fun with him teaching it. I had this course at 7:30 am Monday, Wednesday, Friday. But every early morning that I walked through those doors, I was hooked. He takes time to get to know his students that that is a remarkable thing.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course in my opinion would be going into depth of the Bible. After taking the course I now understand why God did the things that he did. I learned about my favorite miracle in the class, when Elijah asks God for fire and fire comes down within a blink of an eye. The course made you look at the Bible in different ways, and that was cool to unravel the mysteries and great stories in God's word.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard, come to class ready for discussion. but don't stress about it, Dr. Paavola helped me get back on track when I had to have immediate back surgery in October, I returned in November and it felt like I was never gone, he was there for me to get back on track and that is why this course was not insanely tough. As long as you work hard and go to the professor if you need help, this course is not going to make you lose hair.
