    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The slide notes are a great way to keep track of work and follow along. Dr. B is a great teacher, many experiences she shares with the class to bring in real life examples.

    Course highlights:

My class did a statistics lab, but we did not get too far into it. We learned about the general classes of animals. For example, prokaryotes and eukaryotes. Also, I learned the "anatomy" of cells, cell division, which was a struggle for me to grasp but the note sheets helped.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to keep your head in the game. Do not slack off. This class is tough for exams and tests but they are do able if you stay focused and study. The book is hardly required but reading the book is a major help. I recommend reading the chapter even if not required to.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because there are a lot of opportunities to raise your grades if you are not doing as well as you should be.

    Course highlights:

We learned the basic concepts of biology (i.e. DNA, ecology, cells, etc.) to give us a basic introduction the science of biology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I needed to study my notes almost daily because every Friday, there was a quiz on the what we had learned in lecture. Making study guides from the notes you took will also help you in the long run (i.e. tests and final exam).
