    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

As an Economics nerd, I fell in love with Macro at first sight. Even if you've never taken an Econ class before, I definitely recommend you take Macro just to be exposed to a new subject. Economics engages a whole different way of thinking and will challenge and encourage you to learn outside of your comfort zone. It's very different that Micro in that you can apply this knowledge to your life regardless of whether you're in business or not.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about common misconceptions of our economy and the truth about the adverse effects actions such as raising the minimum wage or balancing the budget would actually have on the economy. You begin to understand what politicians are actually talking about and in many cases, can even prove why their thinking is wrong.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take Dr. Meyer! He is a great professor who really roots for his students. Make use of his office hours and get to know him on a personal level. He really loves the subject and his students and that is reflected through his teaching style during class.
