    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Doctor Bennet is awesome, and biology is basically like a story of triumph over the randomness and entropy of the universe.

    Course highlights:

I learned basic cellular biology and basic biological processes of animals through the evolution of those animals. Also, I learned how to properly apply reason to deduce answers from a pool of knowledge.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook, it really is more interesting than people think it is. Start reading early so you are always ahead, and also take notes by hand. Buy a good pen you enjoy writing with, sit down and start and time will pass quickly. I use "white noise" to focus and tune out any sound and the rest of my brain that has random tunes or images that it keeps wanting to remember.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He has an excellent way of teaching the course. He makes the tests and things harder to make you earn your grade, but he gives all the information. He just expects you to be able to apply the information taught to even a false scenario.

    Course highlights:

I learned about how the body gets the different nutrients from the cellular level. I even learned that the DNA in one chromosome is five blocks long. And that all the DNA in the body can travel to the sun and back 600 times. Atleast I think I remembered that right. See what I mean.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen closely but remember that you have to understand the big details in order to apply the little ones. Make up questions to test your self so that you can see if you understand the information. The act of researching an answer in the text helps you learn things a little faster.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I am studying to be a doctor, so this course is the first of many bio classes I'll be taking

    Course highlights:

I learned not only the textbook stuff, but our teacher challenges us to actually APPLY what we've learned to real life situations. It's a tough class, but I'm learning so much.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't miss class. Show up to office hours, if you can.
