    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Cherif was an amazing teacher and always took the extra time with each student to make sure we understood the material and put us in the right direction to do well in the course

    Course highlights:

There were a lot of fun readings and a good amount of paper to homework ratio. My favorite part was being able to write about what we wanted to for our final research project.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to make sure that you put enough time aside to do the work and writing for the class. If you don't, it will feel that the work is overwhelming because there's a lot of work that needs to be put into it.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Good class, but she tends to make the course more of a social studies class, not always an English class.

    Course highlights:

We had a lot of time to do corrections of our paper so she allowed you to ask a lot of questions on how to become a better writer.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You should be a pretty skilled writer before taking on this course.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend because the professor helps explain more on English to the point it is easier to understand. He gives great resources and gives time for the students to finish their work to the best of their ability.

    Course highlights:

Writing essays were the highlights. I love writing, but I always struggled a little with scholarly essays so in this class helped me improve my writing and actually look forward to the next essay.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate. Once given an assignment, especially an essay get to work immediately. The more you work on something the better the paper would be.
