    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because of the instructor. Dr. Hasleu is a very engaged instructor. She is forceful, yet cares about each of her students. I've had past students inform me of this tough course. Intro Psych is a very tedious course to pass, unless you have a fitting instructor, which in this case, I did.

    Course highlights:

I learned about brain fundamentals and conditioning of the brain, to start. I am not majoring in anything relating to psychology, yet this class kept me engaged and informed. It was fascinating to learn about the basics of the brain and how it operates. I believe that everyone should take this course to have the basic knowledge of psychology.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I believe that flash cards are a must, especially in this class. There are 2 major assignments throughout the course. I would recommend spending as much time on these as possible, more so on the first assignment, as it is bigger. I spent a good 30+ hours on it and achieved the grade I wanted. Read the book! Most of the time everything talked about in class isn't in the book, and vise versa. However, the information from class discussions and in the book will be on the tests. Also, don't rush through any assignments, and give good details on everything you answer, including tests and quizzes.
