    Course Overview:

    Because it opens a persons eyes to different perspectives.

    Course highlights:

    In this class we went through an overview of current cultures and subcultures and the struggles of these groups of people face.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    This is a good course for everyone to take, it helps a person develop a more open mindset for real world situations. Such as struggles at school, work and leisure time due to age, racial, religious, physical, and gender differences.

    Course Overview:

    This class opens your eyes! I loved learning through discussion as students were much more involved than they are in most lecture classes.

    Course highlights:

    I gained a new appreciation for those that are different than I am. I feel that I am now more prepared to thrive in a diverse setting, as I understand how to handle peoples' differences.

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take it during winter session! Taking one small class during the break really eases the load for your normal semesters.

    Course Overview:

    This class was a great introduction into the different types of social class, stereotypes, and issues that are impacting people across the globe.

    Course highlights:

    This class truly opened my eyes to the different societies that exist around the world and the difficulties that those societies face. Through class discussion I was able to learn about the difficulties that are present even within my own small circle that I previously didn't know existed.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Participate! Engage in class discussions and attend every class. If you do your work and if you do it on time, you won't have any issues in completing this class.
