    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You will have homework every night. Occasional projects. Lots of in class group work.

    Course highlights:

Candia is so sweet. She really wants you to be successful as a student. Don't be afraid to try in class and ask questions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Candia is not the best professor when it comes to explaining the content but going into office hours will be a tremendous help. Don't be intimidated, all the Spanish will help you be a better Spanish speaker!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Professor Dorado challenges you, but also works in a fun, inclusive environment to help you be successful and progress your Spanish speaking. I enjoyed going to class and was able to make friends while studying and learning together. I enjoyed a great number of laughs in his class which helped relieve tension and stress that comes with college.

    Course highlights:

From taking this course I learned about the culture of Spanish speaking countries and the people of these countries. I learned about grammar and an abundance of new vocabulary. I was able to thoroughly progress my speaking and comprehension of the language through continued practice and participation in class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to be successful in this class you will be. All you have to do is work hard and give effort. If you do the work and put in the time to study and prepare yourself for class and exams you will be successful. It really comes down to whether or not you are going to put the effort in. If you do, you will be successful.
