Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are a theatre major, you have to take this class so just do it. You get out of it what you put in, it would be easy to sit back and fall asleep since the works are so old. If you really listen and focus on how funny the comedies are, how complex the dramas are, and the other details about ancient, theatre, you will learn cool stuff. Definitely do the work reading the textbooks and assignments.

    Course highlights:

I loved the spread of plays that we read, it gave me inspiration for my other classes, especially arts classes. Learning about the different aspects of ancient theatre is a great foundation for the classics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the plays! It will help you a lot and get you on the good side of the professor. Be careful with grammar and spelling, even little mistakes will cost you. When looking up play reviews, I highly recommend the Historic New York Times, but make sure you sort your results by relevance not the most recent.
