This class was tough.
Professor Blumentrit is by far my favorite psychology professor at UWL. She gets you all of the material you need to know for the exam and she is always very flexible if you need to miss class on an important day. She includes fun exercises in her curriculum so the monotony of taking notes does not put the class to sleep.
From this course I gained a lot of knowledge about how behavior is determined psychologically. I found it very fascinating that while some behaviors are innate, others are developed over time based on experiences that an individual has. This process takes a long time and the most interesting part is that people have no idea that is what is happening in their brains. It is interesting to see how different experiences affect your future behaviors.

Advice for students:
Be prepared to write a 10-12 page essay. With every one of Blumentrits classes she has this assignment. Of course, she tells you about it right away and you have the entire semester to work on it. I started a month into the semester and just wrote a coupe pages a week. This made it a lot easier to write; plus then I did not have to write it during finals week which was very nice.
