    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Biology 105 with Colivatio is really funny. She makes lots of jokes and teaches in a way that is very understandable. She went fast at times, but answered every question on Piazza. She was very helpful and make this hard course a little better for me.

    Course highlights:

Colivatio made the lessons relatable. I was better able to understand the concepts in the way that she explained them. It was very helpful that she posted all of her lecture slides onto D2L. Colivatio was very funny and brought jokes into the key concepts.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To do well in this course you HAVE TO SHOW UP! It is also really helpful to look over your powerpoint slides often. Don't be afraid to go to office hours and ask questions. The tutoring center at Murphy Library is also very helpful. Good Luck!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is a great refresher/beginner class for biology. It covers a lot of material and is very challenging but serves as a good basis for other biology classes.

I learned a lot about various aspects of biology from chromosomes, lipids, how we make energy to the environment and how different species interact with each other and there environment.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the material as soon as you learn it and keep going over it. use the tutors as it is a very difficult class and some concepts are difficult to understand.
