    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I was nervous going into Chemistry, having never taken it in high school. It was very hard for me for quite a long time, but Dr. Turov is extremely helpful and will take time to help you. She even helped me find resources on campus to manage testing anxiety.

    Course highlights:

Everything taught in class was a learning experience for me. Not only in terms of general chemistry content, but also in life. One big highlight of this class was Dr. Turov's funny personality. The biggest highlight of this class for me was undergoing a personal change, where I was once seriously dropping out of the course, to ending up passing it with an AB. I would recommend this class to anyone, especially if they are worried about taking chemistry. Dr. Turov will take care of you.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to keep up. Not so much on homework because you get a lot of time to complete assignments, but more so on studying notes and doing practice problems. It's very important to do practice problems and to get help with them if needed.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a really great class and my professor was great, he made it really easy to learn and understand the material.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot more about chemistry and how it applies to the real world, as well as how to apply my knowledge of chemistry to experiments that we would do in lab.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework and don't be afraid to ask questions, the professors are there to help and want you to do well in their course.
