    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course, that will open your eyes to the racism and limiting stereotypes that still exist in our society. I wasn't really sure what to expect with taking this course, but I am really glad that I did. I feel like I have a better understanding of the Native American history, and the impact of white settlement on their culture.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the history of Native American culture, and how stereotypes against them are built in to my every day life without me even knowing it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You must read! Do all of the readings, don't skim them, and take lots of notes! Even if you don't understand everything, are sure to read carefully, and pick up on any patterns that you may see. This will really help with in class discussions.
