    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Sadly, this is a required course for incoming engineers, but it's extremely easy. Despite this, the professor and the course material were so boring that neglecting the work was common, causing multiple people to nearly fail the course.

    Course highlights:

Honestly, I only learned that some professors can be too old to teach. I can tell he was intelligent in his younger days, but the professor simply made the class futile when it came to actually learning something.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Never disregard your work, no matter how easy it is! A little effort and this course could have been a small GPA booster.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was an engineer camp that I attended last summer, when I was a junior in high school. It was one week long and I was awarded 1/2 credit towards my high school credits. At this camp, I have realized my passion for engineering!

    Course highlights:

I learned that I find Civil Engineering to be most interesting. Our team, (collaborative learning) won the best bridge competition, using Popsicle sticks and matchbox cars to make the bridge. It was a lot of fun!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would strongly advise anyone that is interested in engineering to take this week long class. It was very fun and I met life long friends.

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course provides a very general introduction into engineering topics. The class covers a lot of information that I previously learned, but shows how that information will be applied later on in more in depth classes.

    Course highlights:

The process that engineers go through on projects, also the different fields of engineering and a little bit about each one.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay up to date on assignments, and do all the assigned homework.
