Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class has its dull moments, but Professor Gaynor is a great instructor. This class exposes the student to unique ways of learning.

    Course highlights:

I learned about many great composers, and even learned to decipher the difference between many of the 20th century composers lesser known pieces of music.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't worry about this course. It is a required course at River Falls, and it has its tough moments. If you can handle the tough times, this course is a lot of fun.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is incredibly unorganized, he shows up to class late and doesn't have a plan. He does not teach well, as his lectures are difficult to follow and he doesn't educate, he simply plays his favorite songs and expects you to learn quickly while doing nothing in class.

    Course highlights:

I have only learned because of going out of my way outside of class to study, but I learned many music terms and the history of music.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take this class with Professor Gaynor.
