Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because he ties in the concepts with real life examples. He doesn't teach you fillers, he's straight to the point. His exams aren't testing how well you can memorize definitions and orders of events, its testing if you really understand the information.

    Course highlights:

The main highlight of this course is how to be a great manager. He really emphasized on how not every employee is going to like you and that is okay. Your job is to provide them with the information and tools they need to successfully do their job, and make them feel like they belong in the workforce.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Try your best not to miss a single class of his because he doesn't put his lecture notes on a power-point. He writes them on the board and erases them as he goes. Take good notes because it is a open book, open note exams. I would also recommend having a voice recorder because at times he does talk fast and doesn't write everything that is important down on the board. He also gives great examples that you can use on his exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Economics and Management in Agriculture taught by this professor is difficult - not because of its content or the professor's grading scale, but because of the way the information is presented. It was hard at first to grasp the concepts when I was used to memorizing terms and knowing a single right answer. This class really opens up your mind to new ways of thinking and problem solving.

    Course highlights:

AGEC 101 helps you solve problems that don't have just one right solution. It teaches you how to be a good manager by giving you the steps to solve a problem and the right information on how to make effective decisions to profitably benefit a business and its consumers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep an open mind. This class makes you think, so understand why each concept is important. This should allow you to use them to answer the complicated questions that a business manager is faced with on a daily basis.
