Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Yes, this class was mostly enjoyable. I personally don't like Botany, but Dr. Bell made the course a lot easier to work through. Class was more fun.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Bell was a very good teacher. He was funny, natural, and enjoyed sharing his enthusiasm with his students in the classroom.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this course, be ready for a fairly heavy workload. Also, try to take Dr.Bell because he will make the class more bearable, especially if you have early classes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I personally never found Botany that interesting, but if it wasn't for Dr. Bell I would've struggled through this class. Dr. Bell is very down-to-earth and makes class very fun, which helps when it is a 5-credit course required for Bio Majors

    Course highlights:

Dr. Bell was very funny and enthusiastic. He was also very honest and willing to share his enjoyment of the subject with this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready for a fairly heavy work load, but try to take it with Dr. Bell. He makes it easier.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Barringer is a very thorough professor, but also very lenient. He is a plant ecologist, and therefore knows what he is talking about when it comes to plant biology. Overall the class has been very interesting and rigorous since there is a lot of new jargon within the coursework.

    Course highlights:

I learned (and still am learning) a lot about plants and their structures. My major is biology and I want to go into botany research when I am finished with college, so this course has been very helpful in leading me in that direction. This class has been and will be the foundation of my degree so I have been soaking it all up like a sponge.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Lots of studying! Make sure to do well in the lab part of the course while also maintaining lecture midterm grades.
