Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class covers all basic chemistry needed for higher level classes in a efficient and helpful way. I also learned a lot that is above general chemistry that helped in higher chemistry courses.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were getting to be so interactive during labs. Compared to high school science classes, college chemistry depends much more on the individuals knowledge, compared to a teacher's thorough instructions. This helps learn a lot more, because each person is expected to design experiments in their own way, with few guidelines.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class, I think it is important to create a study group and review class material several times a week. A lot of the time, a person may run into a question while studying and will have to ask another for help via email. This takes time, and it would be much more helpful to be with a group.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is very willing to work with students despite the large, lecture style class.

    Course highlights:

Although chemistry is not something that generally interests me, Dr. Frisch lectured on the subject in a way that made it seem fascinating. He was amusing and talked about a lot of real world applications.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book chapter before he talks about it in class. He'll tell you this too, and I know you may not want to, and as you read it you may not understand everything, but it helps so much.
