Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it provides freshman with a great foundation of what to expect in future English classes. Taking this class allowed me to become acclimated to college English but without the high stakes that upper level courses have.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course I developed as a reader and writer. We read literature that challenged every student and helped us discover ourselves as readers. We also did a research essay, which helped us to develop our scholarly writing skills.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When taking this course it is important to have an open mind. Every high school teaches English in their own way, so every student has to reevaluate their process for English courses because it will not be like any class you took in high school. As long as you have an open mind you will succeed in this course.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I love this woman. If her lectures were available on the radio, I would tune-in regularly.

    Course highlights:

She really has a gift and utilizes it with current events.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Words cannot describe what a great experience taking her class has been.
