Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a required coarse at UW-Whitewater, so you have to take it, but it actually teaches you how art applies to your life, even if your not an artist.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed going to the performances. I learned how to describe and apply different applications to the arts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go to the mandatory performances

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It's so interesting learning all about the different arts throughout history. And professor Luedke is the perfect mix of super awkward and cringe-funny to make the course that much better. It was because of him that I took another art history course the next semester.

    Course highlights:

I personally learned a whole ton about visual art (paintings, sculptures, photography, etc). Visual art is Luedke's specialty so he taught that chapter far better than music and dance. (being a musician, it was kind of hard hearing him talk about the technical aspects of music)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to the lecture! All of the quizzes and tests are based 100% on the lectures. The lectures themselves are rooted in the textbook, but notes taken from the lectures themselves are going to do a whole lot better than text from the book when it comes to studying.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

i would recommend anyone who is into art. I personally loved the course because I got to see all different forms of art to actual paintings to dance.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about the history from where art began and the different kinds of art.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always go to the events that are assigned because those are the main points for the class.
