Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved Organic Chemistry. Although many people are scared of taking it, if you put the work in, it is a really interesting course.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part was learning SN1, SN2, E1, and E2. Figuring out these reactions is like doing a puzzle, and it can be very interesting once you have done enough of them to know what you are looking for to figure it out.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to make sure you put the work in, and it is helpful to work with people.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you like chemistry then organic chemistry is the class to take because you really start to work with sepecific molecules and understand their composition, which is really interesting.

    Course highlights:

Learning different reaction mechanisms to get from one compound to another, such as an alkyl halide to an alochol, which is very important for organic chemistry lab experiments.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Constantly be studying because it's very easy to fall behind.
