    Course Overview:

    I would definitely recommend this class to marketing majors. It is an introductory course, so it is very basic, but Laurie gives great examples and makes the information so interesting. I loved this class and the group projects. She always applied the material to the real world and how we would use it in an everyday professional setting.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights were the Personal Marketing Plan and group projects. They allowed me to dig deeper into my skill sets and find the things I am really good at in both an academic and professional setting. I learned how to work even more effectively with others to make deadlines and get a good grade. I also learned how to effectively re-brand a product that had been dying out.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    You should definitely read the book before lectures because she has TopHat graded questions each lecture about each chapter. It also really helps for exams.

    Course Overview:

    The professor has worked in marketing for many years so she has a lot to say about the subject. If you listen well in lecture and take notes and study you will do well in the class.

    Course highlights:

    The projects were actually kind of fun because you get the chance to reposition an old brand. I thought it was creative and fun.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study the questions in the lecture notes in order to do well on the tests. Also make flashcards of the vocab words in order to be successful

    Course Overview:

    Laurie clearly knows a lot about marketing and is very experienced in the field. She keeps lectures interesting and the material is interesting

    Course highlights:

    Learned the basics of marketing and a lot about brand management.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go to lecture, do not text in lecture because sometimes the professor calls students out for being on their phones. Study the questions at the end of the powerpoint notes when preparing for exams!
