    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It has a lot of interesting information regarding the trends and changes in the marriage and family, which has affected how we view the family today. There are a lot of specific numbers and trends, which is sometimes challenging; however, the challenge ultimately helps you grow as a student and person.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed learning about the recent changes and trends in marriage and the family; however, it was interesting learning about the past trends and to see how that affected where we are today. This class also allowed me to grow as a student because it was different from my other classes. The professor focused a lot of the numbers and trends, so I had to alter my study habits to fit his teaching style.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I definitely would read every required reading that the professor gives. I also would print out the lecture notes in advance so that you can pay attention to what the professor is saying instead of focusing on writing everything down. Also, begin studying for the exams well in advance because there is a lot of information to study and understand.
