Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This school has a lot to it. Its huge, to begin. There are classrooms, dorms, fitness centers, and libraries miles apart. The students here are very hard working and they know how to party on the weekend. Classes are very large the first 2 years.

    Course highlights:

The professors are experts in their field and are very smart but some can be extremely opinionated. The gen eds tend to relate to each other in topics a lot. There are a lot of classes offered and you can tell the school is trying to be more diverse.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You really rely on your TAs for help, and talking to a professor doesn't happen. There is no shortage of things to do and get involved. There are people and clubs for anything.Class sizes are very large and you won't get much one on one with your professors.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior, I would tell myself to never sell myself short. I would say that while finishing out senior year on a good note is important, the most important thing is focusing on setting up a bright future.

    Course highlights:

every minute of this process and to put in as much effort as possible, because it is a key turning point in every person's life and deserves lots of care. Work hard and enjoy it all, and at the end take it all in and go where you feel you belong.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would encourage myself to fully take advantage of every service offered to aid me in the process of transitioning from high school to college, be it through my high school, potential university, or an outside party. Most importantly.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think UW-Madison is special because it offers such a large variety of majors/minors. The amount of school spirit and Badger-pride can't be found anywhere else! However, I would like to see the school diversify itself much more than where it is at now.

    Course highlights:

Looking back, and as a transfer student to UW, I wouldn't choose any other school! Professors and students are very passionate and engaged in what they teach.I worry about big parties and what may happen when people drink too much.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There needs to be something done about the number of sexual assault that have occurred.Course registration can be a pain, but there are many knowledgable professors and interesting classes.
